The Pink Pill: Sex, Drugs & Who Has Control is a 2025 documentary directed by Aisling Chin-Yee that investigates the decade-long battle to gain FDA approval for Addyi, a medication designed to increase sexual desire in women. Often referred to as the "female Viagra," the film explores the stark gender inequalities within the medical community and the systemic roadblocks that delayed the drug's approval compared to the rapid,, uncomplicated approval of erectile dysfunction medications for men.
